Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979), better known by his stage name The Game (or simply Game), is an American rapper and actor. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his major-label debut album The Documentary and found continued success with the 2006 follow-up Doctor's Advocate. Album, The Game again debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
The Game is best known as a rapper in the West Coast hip hop scene and for being one of Dr. Born in Compton, California, he released his first mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. The Recording Industry Association of America certified The Documentary double platinum in March 2005. As a result of his disputes with 50 Cent, Game left Aftermath Entertainment and signed with Geffen Records, another label under Universal Music Group's Interscope-Geffen-A&M division, to terminate his contractual obligations with G-Unit in the summer of 2006. Doctor's Advocate did not feature any production from Dr. Pitchfork Media placed The Documentary at number 35 on their list of Top 50 Albums of 2005. In addition to music, The Game has starred in motion pictures and founded The Black Wall Street Records.
VH1 caught up with the school teacher about life after Marrying The Game, what her children Cali and Justice are up to, and what she really thought of The Game doing She’s Got Game.

To see the light bulb come on in the kids when they really do get it, and expand it, that’s priceless. Everyone who saw [She’s Got Game] thought I was going to come on on that show and really like save the day, or come on and take Jayceon back, but that’s his life, that’s his adventures.
So this is just my service to my community, to the world. What is the status of your relationship with Jayceon right now? Did you guys have any sort of talk about him doing the show? I wasn’t not interested in She’s Got Game in the least bit. Did it annoy you or bother you that he was doing a dating show? That’s what he chose to do and it played out the way it played out.
I spent a lot of time and the time has really left for me to work on our relationship. They don’t line up with what he’s doing and where he is.In high school, Taylor was involved in sports including basketball and track.In 1999, Taylor claims that he enrolled in Washington State University on a basketball scholarship and was expelled after a short time when caught with drugs in his possession.“In this series, he gets to try a different strategy, taking the advice and suggestions of the friends who know him best.

Taylor attended Compton High School, where most students who were affiliated with gangs were Crips.
